Prior to joining Allen and Selig Realty, Allison was a seasoned expert in the hospitality and travel industry for over 23 years. She served mainly fortune 500 companies for the first 10 years, catering to their incentive travel programs all over the world, having worked in 77 countries. A partial list of clients included: General Electric, Ford, Citibank, Toyota, Panasonic, Xerox, and NAB (National Assn. of Broadcasters). Allison then spent the next 13 years of her travel career on the island of St. Maarten/Martin in the Caribbean where she owned and operated a destination management company. Her business catered to much of her old client base as well as new government officials such as president George H.W. Bush, French Prime Minister Francois Mitterand as well as media giants CNN, ABC, and CBS. Over the course of this time, Allison was able to establish a reputation for highly reliable and personalized service. She perfected her organizational and problem solving skills while managing the complexities and unpredictabilities of doing business in the Caribbean and working with the local governments.

After having devoted much of her life to the Caribbean, Allison chose to return to the US. Having been born and raised in Waterville Maine and spending the summers in the Belgrade Lakes region, it was only fitting that she return to raise her two sons where the slogan is “the way life should be.” A better choice could not have been made. After working for Marriot Hotels as the director of sales, Allison entered the world of real estate. Her career began with a larger firm before she wisely joined the Allen and Selig Team. Allison specializes in lakefront property with proficient knowledge in the mid-coast and southern Maine regions.

Allison has 2 boys who are both in college. The eldest is studying economics at Babson College in Wellesley Ma, while the younger is a business major at the University of Maine in Orono. Both play soccer at their respective colleges, one a midfielder and the other a goal keeper. She most certainly enjoys traveling up and down New England to watch her boys.

Allison has studied at the University of Maine in Orono, Katherine Gibbs School in Boston and the L’Institute de Francais in Villefranche, France while having lived for periods of time in Venice, Italy, Villefranche, France and Thessaloniki, Greece.
